If you are a strata or facilities manager then you will be aware of how challenging it can be to find someone who actually understands how the TV antenna systems in your managed complexes actually work.
The Antenna Masters has been designing, installing and maintaining communal TV antenna systems (MATV systems) for the strata & facilities management industry for more than 30 years.
Whether it’s an apartment complex, retirement village, hotel, or high-rise commercial building, there is very little we haven’t encountered over the years. Our commercial technicians have been with us for up to 18 years and are ‘career professionals’ who relish the challenge some of these facilities present.
So, if you are having any issues with the communal TV antenna system at any of your complexes or facilities, please let us know.
MATV Design, Installation & Service
An MATV (Communal TV Antenna) system is basically a network of cables and specially designed components that process and amplify TV signals and distribute them from one central location to all units and apartments within a single building or complex, all from a single TV Antenna. We design the system, supply and install the infrastructure to meet your Communal Antenna requirements.
We combine today’s leading technology with over three decades of experience to implement Communal TV Antenna Systems which deliver strong and clear signals to your entire strata property.
Saving You Money & Avoiding TV Reception Issues into the future
Many older style communal antenna systems are cabled in what is known as a ‘looped system’. This means a single cable is looped in and out of every unit, terminating at the wall outlet of each unit. With this design, if there is a failure or interference with an individual wall outlet, it has the potential to adversely impact on many other units that are linked with it. The impact of this issue is significant costs to the Strata Company in ongoing maintenance, as well as frustration and inconvenience to residents as it takes time to access multiple units in an attempt to locate the source of the problem.
Antenna Masters recommend that any new communal antenna system includes a separate cable feed into each unit to ensure that the possible failure of an individual wall outlet will not adversely impact on other units, thereby minimising future maintenance costs.
Tailored MATV Systems
We custom design each system to cater to your specific requirements providing practical solutions to your commercial antenna systems. Every aspect is engineered to supply your premises with optimum quality digital television reception, from the antenna, mounts, and mast to the most effective amplifier and distribution system.
It is important to remember that the efficient and equitable distribution of the TV signals to all corners of a multi-residential complex depends on the system’s design. The poor design of such a major piece of infrastructure can potentially cause significant future costs in ongoing maintenance.
